Always the latest version: the links update by themselves when a release comes out.
macOS 12 or newer, Apple Silicon or Intel
CineTV-<version>-macos-arm64.dmg for Macs with Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3, M4) and CineTV-<version>-macos-x64.dmg for Intel. You can check your processor in the Apple menu → About This Mac.
Open the downloaded .dmg and drag the app into the Applications folder.
The app is not notarized by Apple yet, so macOS blocks it. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, find the message about the app and click Open Anyway.
On the very first launch the video player scans its modules, which can take a few minutes. After that, launches are fast.
Apple menu → About This Mac: Apple Silicon shows Apple M… in the Chip line, Intel shows Intel in the Processor line.
Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway, then confirm with your password or Touch ID. The same in one Terminal command: xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/CineTV.app
The video player scans its modules once. The app shows a "Preparing the player…" screen, just wait: later launches are fast.
The app offers a new version by itself. You do not need to download the .zip files manually, they are only used for updates.
Download the APK for your processor (arm64-v8a for most boxes and TVs) and install it on Android TV 10 or newer. The app works with a regular remote: arrows, OK and Back.
